Job Description

  • Complete month end close activities including journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports in accordance with relevant standards.
  • Support group reporting and consolidation activities.
  • Coordinate audit requirements and collaborate with external auditors
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Assist with tax obligations including BAS, PAYG, GST, Payroll Tax, and statutory submissions
  • Provide insights and analysis to support business decision making.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting or Finance with CA/CPA qualification
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (AASB) and compliance requirements.
  • 5+ years experience in a similar role with experience in consolidation
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical ability, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
