Job Description
- Complete month end close activities including journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports in accordance with relevant standards.
- Support group reporting and consolidation activities.
- Coordinate audit requirements and collaborate with external auditors
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Assist with tax obligations including BAS, PAYG, GST, Payroll Tax, and statutory submissions
- Provide insights and analysis to support business decision making.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting or Finance with CA/CPA qualification
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (AASB) and compliance requirements.
- 5+ years experience in a similar role with experience in consolidation
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail, strong analytical ability, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
