Group Lead - Water Technology

Key Responsibilities

Enhance water systems reliability and efficiency across sites.

Ensure water availability in a cost-effective manner for new projects.

Drive the implementation of latest wastewater treatment technologies & methodologies

Benchmark RIL water systems to ensure cost effectiveness

Maximize recycling of water and provide water balance at all sites and move towards ZLD (Zero Liquid Discharge)

Drive audits of utility systems across sites and ensure regulatory compliance.

Identify gaps and move towards IIOT and digitalization of all water systems.

Review the utility budget and specific consumption norms for water systems at all sites

Optimize and improve energy efficiency of utility systems & high-cost chemicals

Identify and implement Profit Improvement Opportunity (PIO) projects in utility systems of all sites.

Build and mentor a high-performing water technology team, fostering innovation and technical excellence.

Engage with industry partners, research institutions, and government agencies to foster collaboration.

Core Competencies

Expertise in CWT (Chemical Water Treatment), BFW (Boiler Feed Water), ETP (Effluent Treatment Plants), Desalination and RO (Reverse Osmosis) technologies

Fundamental understanding of water technology landscape as-is and future.

Ability to work with an entrepreneurial mind-set.

Strong program management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience with techno-economic analysis, lifecycle assessment, and sustainability evaluation.

Experience working with petrochemical, refining or engineering companies.

Knowledge of water recycling technologies

Knowledge of latest water treatment technologies and methodologies

Knowledge of digitalization of water systems

Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
