Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of one year's experience in the child care field
  • Knowledge of recreational programming
  • Must possess strong communication skills
  • Have ability to work as part of a team
  • High School Completion Certificate or equivalent

    • Assets:

  • Possession of a valid First Aid/CPR Certification is considered an asset
  • Rate of pay is $19.88 per hour plus vacation pay.
  • Shift time is Afterschool 2:30PM-6:00PM M-F with 1.5 hours allotted for weekly staff meetings.

    • Children of EXCEL employees can attend the EXCEL program at no charge


    Various paid training opportunities available including High Five, First Aid/CPR, Fundamental Movement Skills, etc.
