Group Worker – Youth First (Schools-Based)

About the Role

This is a part-time permanent opportunity (17.5 hours per week) based at Uniting’s Youth Services Hub on Alfred Street, Dubbo. The role will work across primary and secondary schools in Dubbo, delivering the Youth First early intervention group program. Flexibility is available to work across 3–5 days per week. Availability to work on Wednesdays is essential, as this is the program’s team meeting, supervision, and collaboration day.

The Group Worker supports children and young people by facilitating small group programs within school settings that promote emotional regulation, healthy relationships, self-care, and positive behaviour change. Programs are delivered in safe, inclusive spaces that strengthen belonging, wellbeing, and protective factors, helping young people remain safe, connected, and engaged in school and community.
