**About the role**

The Groups Meetings & Events Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales activity in order to maximise rooms, groups, conference and events revenue through pro-active selling and conversion of customer enquiries into confirmed sales.

**What will I be doing?**

+ The management of the team on a daily basis
+ Up skilling of Conferencing & Events team
+ Manage the relationship and business processes between C&E Sales & C&E Operations
+ Manage departmental productivity
+ Recruitment, training and development of the team
+ Regularly review and manage individual and team performance against objectives and provide feedback
+ Provide relevant coaching to the team
+ Developing and implementing individual team members and both department training plans to meet business needs
