Role Brief

As a Growth Associate for Verona you will play a key role in redefining how Indians approach finding lifelong partners. The role involves engaging with prospective clients, understanding their relationship goals, and guiding them toward the most suitable matchmaking or premium consulting services. This position requires a blend of consultative selling, emotional intelligence, and strong communication skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s/ Master’s from a Tier 1 institute (preferred)
  • 0-2 years of experience working in client facing roles
  • Experience in relationship building, sales, client facing roles


Key Responsibilities:


Business Development & Sales

  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of Verona's premium services.
  • Identify & convert opportunities for upselling additional services (ticket size of 1 to 1.5 lakhs) to meet clients' evolving needs.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for the premium membership plans.
  • Contribute insights to enhance Verona’s outreach strategy for premium clientele.


Client Acquisition & Lead Management

  • Identify and qualify prospective clients suitable for the premium services, through referrals, events, social networks, and strategic partnerships.
  • Present the premium services proposition confidently, emphasizing its exclusivity, personalization, and success outcomes.
  • Convert qualified leads into active members through persuasive, empathetic, and consultative sales discussions.


Relationship Building & Client Experience

  • Act as the primary point of contact during the onboarding phase, ensuring clients feel valued, understood, and confident in the service.
  • Maintain strong post-enrollment relationships to foster satisfaction, referrals, and renewals.
  • Ensure discretion and confidentiality in every client interaction, aligning with Verona’s brand promise of privacy and trust.


Collaboration & Service Coordination

  • Work closely with the matchmaking, coaching, and client success teams to ensure seamless handovers and exceptional service delivery.
  • Provide clear communication on client preferences, personality traits, and expectations to help matchmakers create compatible pairings.


Location/Work Environment:

The Vatika Triangle; Gurgaon, India.

  • We have built a creative space in a top corporate building in a prime location in Gurgaon. The office is on M.G. Road, a 2-minute walk from the M.G. Road Metro Station.
  • Our team consists of creative and colorful characters, all goal-oriented and hungry for growth (and healthy snacks). The work environment is a mixture of formal and playful, as we all strive to get things done while sipping Italian coffee brewed in-house.
