Jessie 19, is well known to Snap Care, we have had the pleasure of working with her for many years and this role is highly recommended by previously placed Snap Care candidates. Jessie is an easygoing and engaging young lady, and enjoys going for walks, music, and sensory activities. She is at the heart of a friendly, welcoming, and supportive family, Mum, Dad, older brother, younger sister, and 2 dogs! This is a busy family home. Jessie has a profound learning disability, is non-verbal, has epilepsy, and is a wheelchair user. She has complex epilepsy and to help treat her epilepsy Jessie has a Vagus Nerve Stimulator (VNS) in place; however, she can still have multiple seizures per day. She has a PEG (since November 2022) and has her food orally, however her fluid and nutrition is topped up via her PEG. All her food is home-cooked and pureed.
