Job Title: Guardicore Microsegmentation Specialist
Experience Required: 3 to 12 Years
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Guardicore Microsegmentation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing microsegmentation strategies using Guardicore's security platform to enhance network segmentation and improve the security posture of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Guardicore microsegmentation policies and architecture across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Work closely with security and infrastructure teams to develop segmentation strategies that minimize risk and enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement appropriate segmentation controls.
- Optimize network security by ensuring proper segmentation to isolate sensitive workloads and mitigate potential threats.
- Collaborate with DevOps, networking, and security teams to ensure seamless microsegmentation and compliance with security policies.
- Regularly update and maintain Guardicore policy configurations and rulesets.
- Conduct troubleshooting, monitoring, and auditing to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of the microsegmentation solution.
- Participate in incident response activities to resolve security events related to network segmentation.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging threats to enhance segmentation strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience (3-12 years) with Guardicore microsegmentation or similar security tools.
- Strong understanding of microsegmentation principles, security best practices, and network security architecture.
- Experience with network protocols, firewall management, and segmentation strategies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to automate and manage segmentation tasks.
- Familiarity with threat intelligence, security frameworks, and compliance regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborate across multiple teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in security or network-related fields (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CCSA, CompTIA Security+).
- Experience with other network security solutions like Palo Alto, Cisco, or Fortinet.
- Familiarity with container security and microservices environments.
