Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer

Position Description:

Works independently under limited supervision and applies knowledge of subject matter in Applications Development. Possess sufficient knowledge and skills to effectively deal with issues, challenges within field of specialization to develop simple applications solutions. Second level professional with direct impact on results and outcome.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Designs, develops, and implements Claim Center applications, including custom components and integrations.
• Focuses on building and maintaining integrations between Claim Center and other internal and external systems.
• Configures and customizes Claim Center components and workflows to meet specific business requirements without extensive coding.
• Responsible for testing the quality, reliability, and functionality of the Claim Center software.
• Gathers requirements from stakeholders and translates them into technical solutions for the development team.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must-Have Skills:
• 4+ years of Guidewire development experience.
• 4+ years of experience coding RESTful APIs.
• Expertise in GOSU Language, configuration and coding using Guidewire tools and accelerators, Guidewire Batch, and Guidewire predefined plugins
• Read code in other languages and reverse engineer products
• Agile software development, including the use of Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, etc.
• Domain knowledge on Property & Casualty Insurance
• Guidewire Cloud Certification is a must.
Good-to-Have Skills:
• Guidewire BC Configuration Knowledge.
