Guidewire PC Integration

Position Description:

Works independently under limited supervision and applies knowledge of subject matter in Applications Development. Possess sufficient knowledge and skills to effectively deal with issues, challenges within field of specialization to develop simple applications solutions. Second level professional with direct impact on results and outcome.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Guidewire-based solutions, including customizations and new features.
• Configure product models, rating engines, and business rules using the Policy Configuration tool.
• Develop and integrate the platform with other internal and external systems using tools like REST APIs.
• Write clean, high-quality code in GOSU and Java.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to policy center configuration, data migration, and integrations.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and perform unit and integration testing.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must-Have Skills:
• Proficiency in Gosu and Java is essential.
• Experience using this integrated development environment (IDE) for customization, coding, and deployment.
• Experience with Guidewire's cloud offerings is increasingly important.
• Expertise in building integrations using SOAP and RESTful web services for system-to-system communication.
• Strong skills in SQL and database management (like Oracle or SQL Server) for data handling.
• Familiarity with tools like Git or SVN is necessary for code management.
• Knowledge of build tools like Maven and deployment processes.
Good-to-Have Skills:
• Guidewire CC Configuration Knowledge.
