Posting Title: Gynecologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹3.5LPM to 4LPM Work Experience: 3+ years Responsibilities Conduct thorough gynecological examinations, patient consultations, and diagnostic evaluations. Perform a full range of surgical procedures including D&C, LEEP, Hysterectomy, Myomectomy, Oophorectomy, Tubal Ligation, Pelvic Floor Repair, and Laparoscopy. Manage and perform minimally invasive surgeries such as Hysteroscopy, Fibroid & Cyst Surgery, and advanced endoscopic techniques. Provide expert care during Normal Vaginal Delivery and Cesarean Section, including pre-, intra-, and post-operative management. Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions including infertility, menstrual disorders, endometriosis, and pelvic inflammatory disease. Lead and support infertility management programs, including IVF coordination and reproductive endocrinology referrals. Conduct routine and specialized screening procedures such as Pap Smear and Colposcopy for early detection of cervical and pre-cancerous lesions. Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. Collaborate with obstetricians, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialists to ensure integrated patient care. Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education. Mentor junior medical staff and contribute to training programs within the department. Requirements MBBS degree with MD in Obstetrics & Gynecology (or equivalent postgraduate qualification). Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent). Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or specialty clinic setting. Proven expertise in all required surgical and diagnostic procedures: D&C, LEEP, Hysterectomy, Myomectomy, Oophorectomy, Tubal Ligation, Pelvic Floor Repair, Normal Vaginal Delivery, Cesarean Section, Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy, Fibroid & Cyst Surgery, and Infertility Management (IVF). Proficiency in performing Pap Smear and Colposcopy with interpretation of results. Strong understanding of reproductive health, maternal-fetal medicine, and women’s wellness. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage emergencies, and maintain composure in high-stakes situations. Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and adherence to clinical guidelines. Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and weekend shifts as required.
