Posting Title: Gynecologist Industry: Hospital Salary: 3.5LPM to 4LPM Work Experience: 0-1 year Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient evaluations in the Outpatient Department (OPD), including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments. Perform and interpret routine and specialized ultrasound scans (USG) for prenatal monitoring, fetal assessment, and gynecological diagnostics. Manage and deliver both normal vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections (C-sections) under supervision, ensuring optimal maternal and neonatal outcomes. Provide pre-conception counseling, fertility assessment, and support for patients undergoing In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) procedures. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic laparoscopic surgeries for gynecological conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, and tubal blockages. Diagnose, manage, and treat complex obstetric cases including "stuck tummy" (fetal malpresentation or obstructed labor), ensuring timely intervention. Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neonatologists, anesthesiologists, and maternal-fetal medicine specialists to ensure coordinated care. Participate in hospital rounds, case discussions, and on-call rotations as required. Stay current with clinical guidelines, medical advancements, and best practices in gynecology and obstetrics through continuous professional development. Requirements: MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MD/DM in OBGYN) or equivalent. Valid medical registration with the State Medical Council and eligibility for NMC (National Medical Commission) certification. Hands-on experience in performing normal deliveries and cesarean sections, with exposure to high-risk obstetrics. Proficiency in performing and interpreting diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound (USG) in obstetric and gynecological contexts. Experience or training in IVF protocols, including patient counseling, monitoring, and coordination with fertility specialists. Competency in laparoscopic surgical techniques for gynecological conditions. Ability to manage emergency obstetric scenarios, including fetal distress, postpartum hemorrhage, and "stuck tummy" cases. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach. Willingness to work in a fast-paced hospital environment, including on-call duties and night shifts.
