Job Description

  • Ensures all Halal standardized recipes are utilized and followed by all culinary team members, implements and executes all menus as directed.
  • Adheres to all Halal standards and guidelines in preparation, and methods of production and maintains and sets sanitation, hygiene and safety standards.
  • Monitors team productivity through training, coaching and mentoring.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a degree in Culinary Arts or related discipline an asset.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a luxury hotel and in Halal kitchen operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong working knowledge on food safety and sanitation and Halal food preparation and cooking methods.
