Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Conduct chemical and sensory evaluations of food products.

• Apply uniform methods consistently for accurate, reproducible results.

• Perform real-time stability testing to assess physicochemical and organoleptic properties for shelf-life evaluation.

• Facilitate third-party calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.

• Calibrate weighing scales, thermometers, and pH meters.

• Monitor inventories of QA supplies, laboratory equipment, glassware, media, and chemicals.

• Analyze retained samples as needed.

• Use appropriate PPEs and ensure safe handling and storage of reagents and chemicals.

• Ensure that assigned areas are kept clean and orderly at all times.

• Ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and safekeeping of any equipment, tools, and utensils assigned to him.

• Train QA and Production staff on basic laboratory analysis.
