Responsibilities
- Conduct chemical and sensory evaluations of food products.
- Apply uniform methods consistently for accurate, reproducible results.
- Perform real-time stability testing to assess physicochemical and organoleptic properties for shelf-life evaluation.
- Facilitate third-party calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.
- Calibrate weighing scales, thermometers, and pH meters.
- Monitor inventories of QA supplies, laboratory equipment, glassware, media, and chemicals.
- Analyze retained samples as needed.
- Use appropriate PPEs and ensure safe handling and storage of reagents and chemicals.
- Ensure that assigned areas are kept clean and orderly at all times.
- Ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and safekeeping of any equipment, tools, and utensils assigned to him.
