Job Description
Your mission, roles and responsibilities:
- Designing and developing Regulator/Rectifier, DC-DC convertor for 2-wheeler application, EV charging system.
- Performing SRS/Design input review.
- Finalizing the concept design in association mechanical design team.
- Performing related DFMEA/design calculation/analysis/simulation and defining circuit & components.
- Designing circuit, choosing components, derating the components and preparing BOM.
- Reviewing the design output documents.
- Managing project timeline and ensuring of timely deliverable of HW design documentation (Schematics, BOM, Gerber data, etc).
- Defining product testing and validation plans based on requirement of the product both on the test rig and the vehicle.
- Defining environmental and electrical validation plan including EMI/EMC. Co-ordinating with validation team to carry out the validation.
- Monitoring proto board assy & tests carried out on the proto ensuring proper functionality.
- Carrying out DFM activity co-ordination with MFG and process team to define effective manufacturing process.
- HW trouble shooting for any HW failure and performing root cause analysis.
- Defining case, terminal diagram/ wiring harness diagram and other supporting parts with relevant safety mechanism.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers, product management and manufacturing operations for Develop and support integration of electronic and electrical systems.
- Carrying out VA/VE activities.
- Knowledge about EMI/EMC is required to keep the HW cost within the cost target.
Experience Required:
- Minimum - 5+ Years
Minimum Educational Qualification Required: -
- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) / Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) or M.Tech in Power electronics.

Technical Skills:
- Analog and mixed signal circuit design.
- Use of schematic tools, net list generation, BOM preparation, Defining guidelines for PCB layout and circuit simulation tools for functionality, parametic sweep and monte carlo analysis.
- Power management system for EV application ( DC - DC converter & battery management system).
- Understanding of power electronic design.
- Component selection for different circuit functionality based on circuit calculation/analysis and component de-rating.
- Knowledge of Automotive electronics or Mechatronics products.
- Understanding of different types of electrical machines, their performance and construction.
- DFMEA/FTA/EMI/EMC standards, environmental validation standards for EV application.
- Good understanding of electronic product manufacturing process.
