Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Automotive Hardware Designer to join our engineering team at Organisation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in CPU-based design and high-speed interfaces, along with a solid understanding of automotive-grade hardware development.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop automotive hardware solutions with a focus on CPU-based architecture (Qualcomm, NXP, MediaTek, Ambarella, etc.).

- Work on high-speed interfaces including PCIe, DDR3/DDR4, SATA, HDMI, USB 3.0, MIPI, etc.

- Optimize BOM and design cost-effective, production-ready solutions.

- Perform design validation, testing, and debugging for mass production-oriented products.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Mechanical, Software, and RF engineering.

- Ensure designs meet industry standards, thermal requirements, and automotive compliance.

Required Skills & Experience

- Proven experience in CPU-based hardware design.

- Strong expertise in high-speed signal design and layout considerations.

- Good understanding of thermal performance and heat dissipation methodologies.

- Experience in designing for mass production (MP) and high-volume manufacturing.

- Knowledge of RF interfaces and related design constraints.

- Experience in BOM optimization and low-cost product development.

Preferred/Good to Have Skills

- Experience with camera-based designs.

- Knowledge of low-power/battery-powered architecture.

- Familiarity with SI/PI (Signal Integrity/Power Integrity) analysis.
