Overview

We are looking for a Hardware Designer to join our team in the Montreal office. This position is based in Saint-Laurent.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware design activities including electronic design, schematic capture, PCB layout, BOM creation, and PCB manufacturing package generation.
• Perform circuit level design and testing for both analog and digital circuitry (filter design, signal conditioning, optical/capacitive isolation, SMPS, current sensing, communication interfaces, microcontrollers, etc.).
• Experience with different communication protocols and physical layers (SPI, I2C, UART, etc.).
• Design test stations for product debug and verification.
• Select components (chips, passive & active components, power components, etc.).
• Plan and perform board bring-up and testing for PCBA.
• Prepare PCBA manufacturing package and support manufacturer.
