Job Description
Specific Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to validation technicians.
- Ensure proper resource coordination to effectively address required validation testing activities.
- Responsible of ongoing operations of the climatic, mechanical, electrical, and acoustical test laboratories including procurement of new equipment and supplies, equipment maintenance and calibration, and equipment scheduling.
- Support the development of local test capabilities to meet automotive validation requirements.
- Working with Validation Engineers, develop and implement applicable test procedures related to climatic, mechanical, electrical hardware validation of audio amplifiers, speakers and bass-boxes.
- Initiate and implement improvement projects to minimize down time and add capabilities, improve quality, or reduce costs of testing and related departmental processes.
