Role Overview
We are looking for a Hardware Engineer (Electronics) to support the design, development, and validation of mission-critical electronic hardware for aerospace and defence applications. The role involves working on high-speed digital circuits, RF subsystems, and multilayer PCB designs, ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance with stringent industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-speed digital and RF electronic circuits for aerospace and defence platforms
- Create schematics and perform multilayer PCB layout with controlled impedance and high-speed routing
- Component selection considering reliability, temperature, and military-grade standards
- Perform signal integrity analysis and basic RF performance evaluation
- Support hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation of prototypes
- Use lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, network analysers, and logic analysers
- Work closely with firmware, mechanical, systems, and manufacturing teams
- Prepare and maintain design documentation, test reports, and compliance records
- Support qualification, environmental testing, and design iterations
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Exposure to MIL-STD / DO-160 / IPC standards
- Experience with EMI/EMC mitigation techniques
- Knowledge of power electronics and mixed-signal design
- Experience in aerospace, defence, UAV, radar, EW, or avionics projects
- Understanding of DFM/DFA and reliability engineering

- Working knowledge of RF circuits and RF measurement basics
- Experience in PCB design tools (Altium, OrCAD, KiCad, or equivalent)
- Understanding of signal integrity, impedance control, grounding, and EMI/EMC basics
- Familiarity with common interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, LVDS, Ethernet, etc.)
- Ability to interpret datasheets, reference designs, and military standards
