Hardware Engineer

Work Experience: 5-7 Years

Location: Gurugram

Responsibilities:

• Will be responsible for supporting the team for various analog / digital / dc – dc low power hardware for ongoing & new products
• Conceptualization, block and schematic design for various control cards which include mixed signal & processor / controller based designs
• Layout knowledge to coordinate with PCB design team
• Troubleshooting / Bring up of boards, testing & validation of all blocks, preparation of BoM, production and other engineering documents
• Selection of discrete components, functional IC s and controllers for new and existing designs update
• Ability to interact with cross functional team and external vendors
• Finding alternatives / second sources for already used components
• Work on reliability of design and problem observed in field / production and carry out any required modifications
• Provide support to Production for new design

Technical Skills :

• Relevant experience in Hardware of Embedded system based on Micro Controller & Microprocessor. Should have design experience on high speed digital & low level analog signal board.
• Good understanding of high speed digital & analog linear circuit design concepts.
• Through understanding of active & passive component specifications and interpretation of datasheet.
• Should have working experience in Board bring up and debugging of embedded systems.
• Good knowledge of SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, USB, RS 232, RS 485 and LVDS interface specifications. Should be able to compare & choose optimum components.
• Hands on experience in use of instruments like Logic Analyzer, DSO & Signal Generator etc.
• Through knowledge of PCB design procedures and basic guidelines sufficient work with PCB design team
• Experience in handling EMI / EMC testing and debugging
