Job Description
**Description:**
You will be the Hardware Engineer for the Simulation and Systems Test Labs (SST) which is responsible for building, integrating, and testing electronic rack systems that meet customer requirements.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the Hardware Engineer you will be responsible for coordinating design efforts, managing build activities, and ensuring cost‑ and schedule‑performance across SST projects.
**Your responsibilities will include:**
+ Collaborate with mechanical and electrical design engineers to review drawings, wire‑routing lists, and project scope.
+ Develop detailed build plans, generate engineering estimates, and create project schedules.
+ Lead the technician team through daily tasking, build execution, and integration of rack hardware.
+ Track cost and schedule performance, attend status meetings, and report metrics to internal and external customers.
