Insight Global is looking for a Hardware Engineer to join one of the world's leading technology companies based in Sunnyvale, CA. This will be part of the Reality Labs organization which brings people around the world together through next generation Augmented, Mixed, and Virtual Reality. The main function of a hardware prototype engineer is to research, design, develop, test high-density, wearable electronics.
Job Responsibilities:
* Review and approve plan layout, including creating new designs and modifications of existing designs.
* Review and approve product prototypes, working models or theoretical models constructed with computer simulation.
* Write detailed functional specifications and design flow/tradeoff.
* Support new technology introduction.
* Act as a subject matter expert to engineering staff and consult specifications to evaluate interface between hardware and software and operational and performance requirements of overall sys...
