Role – Python Developer – Enterprise Data & Application Integrations

We are seeking a Senior Python Integration Developer with technical skills and experience in integrating enterprise applications, systems, middleware and data.

Qualifications & Experiences.

• 6+ yrs. of Python Development Experience in Enterprise Application Integration and Enterprise Data Integration across Web Applications, Middleware, Databases, and Transactional Systems
• Experience in API development, including best practices for performance, error handling, security, automated testing, versioning, governance, automated observability, automated monitoring and deployment
• Experience in developing solutions related to data ingestion (real-time and batch), transformation, enrichment, cleansing, data export using ETL and other techniques
• Experience with ETL frameworks for Apache Airflow, Pandas, Polars would be advantageous
• Experience with integrating with Message Brokers like Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Expertise in Integration tools and frameworks like FastAPI, Postman, Swagger, API Gateways
• Knowledge of REST, JSON, XML, SOAP is a must
• Ability to work well within an agile team environment and apply the related working methods.
• Experience working on & integrating with Cloud Platforms like: GCP, AWS, Azure and OpenShift is a plus
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Ability to mentor team members.
• A 4-year degree in Computer Science or IT is a must.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement integration solutions for HCL’s Marketing Platform (Unica) and Customer Data Platform (CDP) using Python , Microservices, REST APIs and API Gateways.
• Translate conceptual system & business requirements into technical data and integration requirements
• Develop efficient, scalable and reliable APIs & Connectors to integrate multiple applications, middleware, systems and data sources
• Develop automated Unit Tests and automated monitoring scripts to ensure reliability and high quality of the delivered integrations
• Participate in research and make recommendations on the integration products and services
• Monitor integration processes and proactively identify and resolve performance or data quality issues.

Provide ongoing maintenance and support for integration solutions.

Travel: 30% +/- travel required

Location: India (Pune preferred)

Compensation: Base salary, plus bonus.
