<p>Role Overview:<br/><br/>The Senior Sales Manager - Mortgage is responsible for driving business growth by achieving volume, product mix, and market share targets across the assigned geography. The role focuses on dealer and channel network expansion, institutional sales, market development, and strategic sales planning while ensuring profitability, cost control, and superior customer experience.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities:<br/><br/>Business Growth & Target Achievement:<br/><br/>- Achieve business plan targets in terms of volume growth, product mix, and market share for mortgage products (Home Loans, LAP, etc.).<br/><br/>- Drive sustainable growth through structured sales planning and execution.<br/><br/>- Ensure consistent performance across sourcing channels while maintaining portfolio quality.<br/><br/>Dealer & Channel Management:<br/><br/>- Manage and expand the dealer / DSA / connector network to enhance sourcing capability.<br/><br/>- Build strong, long-term relationships with channel partners and institutional clients.<br/><br/>- Monitor dealer productivity and take corrective actions to improve performance.<br/><br/>Institutional & Corporate Sales:<br/><br/>- Promote mortgage products through institutional sales, corporate tie-ups, and builder relationships.<br/><br/>- Identify new sourcing opportunities and strategic alliances to strengthen market presence.<br/><br/>Sales Promotion & Strategy:<br/><br/>- Plan and execute sales promotion campaigns, schemes, and local marketing activities.<br/><br/>- Provide market intelligence inputs to refine pricing, product positioning, and selling strategies.<br/><br/>- Conduct detailed market studies to track customer trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.<br/><br/>Cost & Profitability Management:<br/><br/>- Ensure effective cost management by optimizing acquisition and operational expenses.<br/><br/>- Balance growth with profitability through disciplined sales execution.<br/><br/>- Customer Experience & Process Adherence<br/><br/>- Ensure superior customer experience throughout the sales lifecycle.<br/><br/>- Coordinate with credit, operations, and service teams to manage turnaround times and service quality.<br/><br/>- Possess sound knowledge of service and warranty systems related to mortgage products.<br/><br/>Key Skills & Competencies:<br/><br/>- Strong commercial and business acumen with a deep understanding of mortgage products.<br/><br/>- Proven ability to drive sales growth through channels and institutional partnerships.<br/><br/>- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.<br/><br/>- Strong customer-centric mindset with relationship-building capability.<br/><br/>- Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess market trends and sales performance.<br/><br/>- Ability to work in a target-driven, competitive environment.<br/><br/>Education & Experience:<br/><br/>- Graduate in any discipline (MBA / Postgraduate qualification preferred).<br/><br/>- 6-8 years of total experience in BFSI sales.<br/><br/>- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in Mortgage / Home Loans / LAP sales.<br/><br/>- Prior experience managing dealer / DSA networks and institutional sales is mandatory.<br/><br/>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):<br/><br/>- Business volumes and market share growth<br/><br/>- Dealer / channel productivity<br/><br/>- Product mix and profitability<br/><br/>- Cost efficiency<br/><br/>- Customer satisfaction and service quality<br/></p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
