HDD Driller

Short description

We are seeking an experienced Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) Driller to join a major pipeline project in Southern Germany. The candidate will operate HK rigs (100-ton and 250-ton) for long-distance crossings, ensuring safe and efficient execution according to project specifications.

Function description

• Operate HK HDD rigs (100-ton and 250-ton) for pipeline crossings.
• Perform drilling, reaming, and pullback operations in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Monitor borehole stability and manage drilling fluid systems.
• Interpret and follow drilling plans, including steering and alignment requirements.
• Conduct pre-drill checks and maintain accurate daily drilling reports.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and client representatives to ensure smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize drilling performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HDD Driller on large-diameter pipeline projects.
• Hands-on experience with Maxi Rigs (from 100-ton and/or 250-ton).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and HDD plans.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
• EU work permit and willingness to work in Southern Germany.
• Good English skills; German is a plus.
