Eats by Qaseh Cafe – Bukit Mertajam, Penang

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all kitchen operations on a daily basis
  • Plan, develop, and execute menus according to brand standards and business goals
  • Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation
  • Supervise, train, and schedule kitchen staff
  • Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP)
  • Control food cost, wastage, and inventory levels
  • Conduct food costing and portion control
  • Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure proper maintenance
  • Coordinate with management on sales targets, promotions, and menu planning
  • Handle kitchen discipline, performance, and staff development
  • Ensure smooth service during peak hours and events
  • Manage supplier relationships and ingredient quality

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef
