Head – Design & Engineering (Utility-Scale Solar EPC)

We’re looking for a Head of Design & Engineering who can lead the complete technical function for large-scale Solar EPC projects — from pre-bid to commissioning.
:
● Lead all design and engineering for utility-scale PV plants, hybrid systems
● Prepare pre-bid designs, layouts, energy yield assessments, and SLDs
● Evaluate modules, inverters, transformers, batteries, PCS, and EMS for techno-commercial optimization
● Support BD and tendering teams with technical documents and cost estimation inputs
● Ensure compliance with MNRE, IEC, CEA, and DISCOM standards
● Build internal engineering systems, manuals, templates, and knowledge base
● Collaborate closely with project execution, procurement, and QA/QC for technical alignment
:
● Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Power / Energy Engineering (M.Tech preferred)
● Experience: 12–18 years in utility-scale solar design and engineering, with exposure to hybrid projects
● Proficiency in PVsyst, AutoCAD, ETAP, Helioscope, STAAD Pro
● Proven experience in tender study, cost estimation, and design documentation
● Leadership mindset to build and mentor a multidisciplinary design team
