Head Electrical Design

We are looking for an accomplished Electrical Design Head to lead electrical design across our high-end residential and commercial projects. This role demands deep technical expertise, strong design leadership, and a focus on innovation, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.

You will define the electrical design strategy, drive technical excellence, and deliver energy efficient, future-ready solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that every project meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.

The Electrical Design Head would also be responsible for ELVS [Extra Low Voltage Systems] Design and HVAC Designs in all projects.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end electrical design process across all projects, from concept to execution, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with architectural and structural disciplines.
• Define and uphold design standards, ensuring compliance with local (NBC, IS Codes), national, and international (IEC, IEEE) regulations and best practices.
• Deliver efficient, sustainable, and innovative designs for LV, HT, and ELVS systems, integrating energy-efficient and renewable energy solutions.
• Review and approve detailed design documents including load schedules, SLDs, distribution and lighting layouts, grounding systems, and technical specifications.
• Champion design innovation through adoption of smart technologies (BIM, IoT, energy management systems) and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive robust design risk assessments, quality reviews, and cross-functional coordination workshops to ensure constructability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing design team, setting technical benchmarks, conducting design audits, and building deep domain expertise.
• Lead technical evaluation of vendors, materials, and systems to meet stringent quality, performance, and sustainability standards.
• Foster a culture of compliance, technical excellence, and design leadership aligned with Total Environment’s vision of delivering unsurpassed living experiences.

What We’re Looking For

• 18-20 years of experience in Electrical Design in real estate, residential and commercial Projects.
• B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering from an institute of repute.
• Strong background in Electrical design with an understanding of integrated building systems.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and people leadership skills.
