Our lovely clients are seeking an experienced professional to join their team as the Head Housekeeper for a large private ranch estate in Teton Country, northern Montana

This is an excellent employer and a fantastic opportunity to live and work in a beautiful environment!  Glacier National Park is less that 100 miles away and there are ample local opportunities for hiking, skiing, fishing, etc.

The clients are also willing to consider hiring a domestic couple (Head Housekeeper and Estate Caretaker/Ranch Assistant).

Responsibilities

• Perform the daily and specialty cleaning of the main residences and auxiliary living spaces


• In the summer season, manage a team of housekeepers and formulate a cleaning schedule


• Provide thoughtful and refined service to family members and guests


• Oversee the daily cleaning operations


• Perform laundry tasks, iron fine linens, and ensure wardrobe organization


• Demonstrate a hands-on team-based approach and a willingness to pitch in with whatever is needed to keep the home running smoothly


• Collaborate with the Ranch Manager and other staff

Qualifications

• At least three to five years of experience working in a fine home or a five-star luxury resort or hotel


• Excellent, verifiable references


• Highly organized with excellent time and project management skills


• Experience cleaning and caring for high end furnishings and finishes


• Elevated laundry skills, including ironing and steaming garments and linens


• Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written


• Warm, positive energy and a hands-on mentality


• Enthusiasm for using environmentally friendly cleaning products


• Happy to work in a remote location and not bothered by wildlife on the property

Schedule:

• Full-time, live-out, year-round


• Generally, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm


• When the principals are in residence (approximately 8 weeks) the team should expect a longer work week with overtime hours

Compensation:

• $33-$37.50 per hour. Guaranteed 40 hours/week minimum all year
