Job Description

We are looking for an experienced India Sales Head to drive growth across the Indian market. This is a senior hunting role with a strong focus on new business acquisition, revenue growth, and team leadership within IT services and professional services. The role offers high visibility, pan-India exposure, and the opportunity to build and scale strategic accounts.

Location: Chennai / Bangalore / Hyderabad / Kochi
Work Mode: Hybrid (Pan-India travel required)
Role & Responsibilities
Should have 15+ years of experience , including a minimum of 10+ years in direct IT services sales and at least 5 years of sales team management , mandatorily in a B2 B environment
Drive sales of IT services and professional services to MNC Captives / GCCs across India
IT services include Application Development, Software Engineering, AI / Gen AI, Test Automation, RPA, UI/UX, ERP, Mobility , and Staffing services
Demonstrate consistent and proven revenue achievement over the last 5 years
Quickly understand company offerings and present solutions to senior management & CXO stakeholders to build mindshare and generate leads
Implement sales strategies and drive the team to achieve revenue and business goals
Maintain strong knowledge of the competitive landscape and key players
Exhibit strong technical understanding of IT services to articulate capabilities and differentiators clearly
Handle account opening, account management , and relationship building at mid-senior and CXO levels
Manage opportunities ranging from USD 0.1 Mn to USD 1 Mn+
Collaborate closely with delivery teams to ensure on-time delivery, budget adherence, and high CSAT for repeat business
Maintain accurate CRM records for leads, pipeline, revenue, and collections
Prepare and present performance reports, analytics, QBRs, and annual plans
Ensure timely collection of account receivables
Plan and participate in industry events and exhibitions to increase brand visibility and generate leads
Run regular cadence and pipeline review meetings with team members and guide them to achieve individual targets
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in engineering or science (IT / Electronics / E&C / Instrumentation preferred)
Postgraduate degree or diploma in Business / IT is a plus
Existing CXO-level relationships in the target market is desirable
