Position Summary
The Head of Aftersales/Customer Service will assume strategic and operational responsibility for all post-sales functions, including service delivery, spare parts management, warranty administration, and technical support. This role requires a leader with both technical depth and commercial acumen, capable of driving customer satisfaction, service profitability, and operational efficiency across diverse geographies.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership to Aftersales and Customer Service teams across Field Operations. Develop and implement customer support strategies that enhance satisfaction, retention, and loyalty. Oversee spare parts distribution, warranty processes, maintenance contracts, and technical service functions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging digital tools, predictive maintenance, and service innovations. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry partners. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards across all service operations. Mentor and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and customer focus. The Successful Applicant
Demonstrated leadership experience in Aftersales/Customer Service within Construction Equipment, Industrial Machinery, or Heavy Equipment industries. Strong technical foundation with exposure to Mechanical systems, Electrical engineering, and Electronics relevant to heavy machinery. Proven track record of enhancing customer satisfaction and driving service revenue growth. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Strategic mindset combined with hands-on operational execution capability. Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, global business environment.
