We are looking for someone to lead Compliance at Scapia.
As the Compliance lead, you will play a critical part in driving a culture of compliance
working closely with leaders across the board.
Focus Areas:
Develop a comprehensive credit and lending compliance policies, procedures,
and controls as per latest guidelines
Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate compliance risks
associated with co-branded credit card operations.
Set up robust monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track compliance,
conduct internal audits, and create reports for leadership and regulatory
authorities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, risk management,
and product development, to integrate compliance measures into our credit
and lending processes.
Help set up new processes for NBFC and lending operations
Foster relationships with regulatory authorities, and staying updated on
regulatory changes that impact our business.
Continuously monitor and evaluate the evolving credit and lending regulatory
landscape to adapt compliance strategies accordingly.
Profile:
Masters in Law/Finance & 8+ years of experience in a compliance role,
preferably in fintech space
In-depth knowledge of credit and lending regulations, including but not limited
to consumer lending, business lending, fair lending practices, credit reporting,
and privacy laws
Build from scratch and implement credit and lending compliance policies
Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills to work
effectively across teams and with regulatory authorities
Experience in engaging with regulatory bodies and maintaining positive
relationships with relevant stakeholders.
Mindset with a balance of strategic thinking and execution excellence
