The Head of CSR Partnerships will be responsible for building, scaling, and managing high-impact corporate partnerships that drive long-term social value while aligning with organizational goals. This is a senior leadership role requiring deep expertise in fundraising, strategic partnerships, and business development, with a strong understanding of the CSR ecosystem in India and globally.
The role will focus on identifying, nurturing, and closing large-scale CSR funding opportunities, creating sustainable partnerships with corporates, foundations, and institutions, and positioning the organization as a trusted implementation and impact partner.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
CSR Fundraising & Revenue Growth
- Lead end-to-end CSR fundraising efforts, including identification, pitching, negotiation, and closure of multi-year CSR partnerships.
- Develop and execute a robust fundraising strategy to achieve annual and long-term revenue targets.
- Build a strong pipeline of corporate donors across sectors such as technology, manufacturing, BFSI, FMCG, and healthcare.
- Oversee proposal development, budgets, impact frameworks, and reporting commitments to ensure donor satisfaction and renewals.
Business Development & Strategic Partnerships
- Identify new business opportunities aligned with the organization’s mission and programmatic priorities.
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with CXOs, CSR heads, sustainability leaders, and key decision-makers.
- Co-create innovative CSR programs and partnership models that deliver measurable social impact and brand value for partners.
- Represent the organization at industry forums, CSR summits, conferences, and networking events.
Partnership Management & Impact Alignment
- Act as the primary point of contact for strategic CSR partners, ensuring strong governance, communication, and delivery excellence.
- Collaborate closely with program, finance, legal, and impact teams to ensure seamless execution of funded projects.
- Track partnership performance using defined KPIs and impact metrics, ensuring transparency and compliance with CSR regulations.
Leadership & Team Development
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing CSR partnerships and fundraising team.
- Set clear goals, drive accountability, and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Provide strategic inputs to senior leadership on growth opportunities, market trends, and partnership risks.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in CSR fundraising, corporate partnerships, and business development.
- Proven track record of closing large-ticket CSR deals and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of CSR regulations, compliance, and impact measurement frameworks.
- Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability.
Qualifications & Experience
- 9–20 years of progressive experience in CSR partnerships, fundraising, business development, or allied roles.
- Experience working with corporates, NGOs, foundations, or social impact organizations is highly preferred.
- MBA or Master’s degree in Business, Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field is a plus.
