Head of Data and AI Practice

Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities
• Build the Data & AI practice from the ground up, achieving targeted revenue, utilization, and margins while maintaining low, single-digit attrition
• P&L ownership and oversight of pre-sales, sales, delivery, accelerator development, and strategic hiring
• Delivering diverse data and AI and Generative AI projects across domains
• Conceptualize and develop Data & AI accelerators for faster delivery & sales conversion
• Own RFP responses and presales presentations in the data & AI space.
• Recruitment and staffing of Data & AI professionals
Necessary Background
• Experience in an IT Service organization with at least 10+ years of experience
• Familiarity and hands-on experience on AI, GenAI, MLOps, Data Engineering and Analytics
• Experience in responding to relevant RFPs
• Past experience in developing accelerators and making customer presentations on value proposition
• Past experience in building a practice or sub-practice is an added advantage
• Ability to identify good talent in this space and motivate them to join the team
• Good communication skills
