About the Position

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, in this newly created position of Head of Data, you will be responsible for leading and evolving the organisation’s data capabilities within a radiology and healthcare context. You will ensure high standards of data quality, integrity, governance, security and patient privacy. You will act as a trusted data advisor to senior business and clinical stakeholders, enabling insights that support operational excellence, clinical quality, regulatory compliance and improved patient outcomes.

You will guide the evolution of the data platform from legacy reporting environments to modern, scalable architectures, including the strategic use of Snowflake and other tools. You will balance strategic leadership with hands-on contribution where required, and will shape how data underpins analytics, reporting and emerging intelligent automation use cases across the healthcare business.

About You

You must have proven experience leading or evolving data functions, ideally within healthcare, radiology, or other highly regulated environments. Your background must include:

  • Demonstrated success transitioning data capabilities from legacy platforms to modern cloud-based architectures.
  • Strong understanding of modern data pipelines, event-driven data flows and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.
  • Deep appreciation of data governance, privacy and compliance obligations, particularly in relation to patient and clinical data.
  • Ability to operate as a trusted advisor, communicating complex data concepts clearly to clinical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with enterprise data ecosystems; exposure to Salesforce environments is advantageous but not essential.
  • Understanding of advanced data architecture concepts such as zero-copy data sharing and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
  • Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on technical contribution in a growing organisation.

What We Offer

  • Attractive remuneration and benefits (discounted health insurance and gym membership)
  • Commitment to professional development and education
  • Investment in state-of-the-art equipment
  • Friendly, diverse and professional team
  • Flexible and supportive working arrangements
