Technical Manager – Iberia (based in Spain – Madrid) PERI , a leading international company in Iberia in the area of formwork, scaffolding and engineering is looking for individuals to fill this position. Your Responsibilities Purpose of the role Leads and manages the Technical Department PERI Iberia. Responsible for ensuring that the technical department provides the most cost‑effective solution for the customer and is more profitable for PERI, while supervising the quality and technical precision of all works produced in the technical department. Key Roles / Responsibilities Department management Comply and enforce mandatory group directives. Lead the work of the technical department optimizing its operation. Evaluation of performance in the technical department. Control compliance with the MBOs of the technical department. Mark, according to company management, the remuneration criteria and variable premiums of the employees of the technical department. Hire qualified technical personnel suitable for the technical department. Ensure and observe all technical codes, norms and processes of the technical department. Bid and Project Management Supervise the projects, technical solutions and calculations made in the department. Control the profitability of projects, taking into account technical and financial risk. Support the commercial/project manager in the presentation of bids, participating in closing operations if necessary. Documentation and training Provide technical consultancy to the sales department and the client during meetings or on‑site advice. Develop the training area of the company. Technically support all employees. Preparation of technical/economic reports. Disseminate technical information in the department and throughout the company. Communication Represent PERI in external committees and clients. Perform system, product and company presentations both internally and in professional or university forums. Transmit vital information to other departments (logistics, billing, etc.). Participate in the Management Committees of the Company. Communicate with Germany and other subsidiaries of the group regarding technical issues. Your profile University degree (civil or mechanical engineering); key areas: construction, steel construction, building operations or similar education such as master craftsperson (civil or mechanical engineering). Practical experience/professional experience in formwork and scaffolding (minimum 8 years). Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge of and experience with AutoCAD or similar software. Rstab and 3D applications. Knowledge in BIM applications. Very good command in English. International experience and/or experience with international companies. Troubleshooting – advanced knowledge of PERI systems is an advantage. Advanced knowledge of design and manufacturing processes. Advanced knowledge of the calculation processes. Fluid handling of PERI technical tables. Quality of work organization and planning.
