Role Overview
The Engineering Control Head will be responsible for overseeing engineering governance, design validation, process safety, risk management, and quality assurance across projects. This role ensures technical integrity, compliance, and alignment between design engineering, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Review and approve Design Engineering (DE) and package documents.
Ensure acceptance and validation of BE (Basic Engineering) deliverables.
Communicate design changes, deviations, and updates to DE teams and vendors.
Oversee local design and engineering activities in line with project requirements.
Lead and review process safety studies and documentation.
Conduct and validate risk analysis, including technical audits and QRA (Quantitative Risk Assessment).
Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
