Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our esteemed institution as the Head of Humanities in Delhi, India (immediate or asap start). This is a prestigious leadership role that requires a British-qualified educator with a proven track record of excellence in Humanities education. Benefits
  • Salary: INR150,000.00 p/m (negotiable for the right candidate)
  • Meals: Lunch and dinner provided for self, spouse, and children studying in the same school during term time (meals to be taken with students).
  • Accommodation: Free furnished accommodation within the school campus.
  • Medical Insurance: Coverage for self, spouse, and children as per the rules of the insurance policy.
  • Utilities: Water and electricity bills covered up to INR 2,500 per month.
  • Mobile Allowance: Up to INR 1,000 per month for official use.
  • Travel Reimbursement: Fixed amount of INR 50,000 reimbursed annually for flight tickets (national or international) after completing one year of service.
  • School Fees: Staff children will be treated as day scholars, and no school fees will be charged as per school rules (maximum 2 children)
Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Humanities department, ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning.
  • Develop and implement policies, programs, and practices that promote academic excellence and holistic student development.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of educators to achieve professional growth and deliver outstanding results.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, and respect.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of students and staff, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to maintain strong communication and partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with all educational regulations and standards.
Qualifications
  • British-qualified educator with relevant teaching and leadership certifications.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of the British curriculum and its implementation.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of educators.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Day-to-Day
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Humanities department, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to policies.
  • Conduct regular meetings with staff to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement.
  • Observe and evaluate classroom teaching to ensure high-quality instruction.
  • Address student and parent concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other school leaders to align primary school goals with the overall vision of the institution.
  • Plan and organize events, activities, and programs that enhance the student experience.
  • Stay updated on educational trends and best practices to continuously improve the school's offerings.
