Job Description
The Head – Investor Relations will be responsible for managing and strengthening relationships with investors including angel investors, HNIs, family offices, and institutional partners. The role will lead investor communication, engagement, fundraising support, and coordination between investors, investment teams, and portfolio companies within an early-stage investment ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Investor Relationship Management
Serve as the primary interface for existing and prospective investors.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with angel investors, HNIs, family offices, and strategic partners.
Drive investor engagement through regular interactions, events, demo days, and portfolio showcases.
Fundraising & Capital Raise Support
Support fundraising initiatives across funds, syndicates, and special investment vehicles.
Manage investor onboarding, KYC, documentation, and coordination with legal and compliance teams.
Prepare pitch decks, investment memorandums, and fundraising presentations.
Investor Communication & Reporting
Lead structured communication including quarterly investor updates, portfolio performance reports, and fund summaries.
Ensure timely, accurate, and transparent sharing of financial and operational information.
Handle investor queries and coordinate responses across internal stakeholders.
Portfolio & Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate with portfolio companies to collect performance data and updates.
Facilitate interactions between investors and founders as required.
Support follow-on investments, exits, and liquidity events from an investor communication perspective.
Governance, Compliance & Regulatory Adherence
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks (SEBI, AIF, and related guidelines).
Maintain high standards of governance, confidentiality, and investor best practices.
Support audits, investor due diligence, and regulatory reporting.
External Representation
Represent the organization at investor forums, industry events, and ecosystem platforms.
Strengthen investor confidence through professional and consistent engagement
