Role

The Monad Foundation is looking for a Head of Korea to establish Monad as the leading blockchain in South Korea by institutional and retail adoption. South Korea is one of the most dynamic and active blockchain markets globally.

What You Will Do

• Develop and execute market strategies to establish Monad as an industry leader in the South Korean market among institutional and retail investors.
• Lead business development efforts by identifying, negotiating and closing strategic deals that drive capital inflows and user adoption.
• Build and nurture relationships with key ecosystem players including VCs, exchanges, media, and developer communities.
• Stay on top of the evolving South Korean regulatory landscape and trends to identify high-impact opportunities.
• Facilitate the entry of global ecosystem startups into the South Korean market by providing strategic guidance, local insights and connections.

Who You Are

• 8+ years of business development experience, including 3+ years in blockchain, digital assets, or Web3 startups.
• Deep understanding of the South Korean market and proven ability to engage retail and institutional investors.
• Established network across local Web3 startups, institutions, and enterprises.
• Self-starter who takes ownership of initiatives from ideation to execution.
• Native-level fluency in both Korean and English (written and verbal).

Nice to Have

• Existing relationships with South Korean financial institutions that are exploring or actively involved in Web3 initiatives.
• Entrepreneurial experience across the full startup lifecycle, including fundraising, product launches and operations.
• Deep technical understanding of blockchains.

The role is based in South Korea.
