Senior Leader – Head of Managed Services (Private Cloud)

About the Role
We are a stealth-mode technology company building next-generation Private Cloud & Managed Services platforms for large enterprises across BFSI, telecom, manufacturing, SaaS, and regulated industries.
We are seeking a Senior Leader to build, scale, and own the entire Managed Services vertical for Private Cloud Services. This role carries end-to-end P&L responsibility and will define the company’s strategy, operating model, service excellence, and growth trajectory in Managed Services.
This is a foundational leadership role with board-level visibility and direct impact on revenue, customer success, and long-term enterprise partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the Managed Services strategy for Private Cloud offerings (IaaS, DR, Backup, Security Ops, VDI, Cloud Optimization).
- Build a scalable services portfolio aligned with enterprise and regulated-industry requirements.
- Own P&L , revenue growth, gross margins, cost optimization, and service profitability.
Operational Excellence
- Establish world-class service delivery frameworks (ITIL, ISO, SLA-driven operations).
- Drive 24×7 operations , service assurance, uptime, resiliency, and compliance.
- Lead continuous improvement across incident, problem, change, and capacity management .
Customer & Growth Ownership
- Act as the executive sponsor for strategic enterprise customers.
- Partner with Sales, Pre-Sales, and Solutions teams to drive large-deal wins and renewals .
- Build high-trust relationships with CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, and IT Heads.
Technology & Innovation
- Lead adoption of automation, AIOps, observability, security operations, and self-healing platforms .
- Shape roadmap for AI-ready private cloud , GPU workloads, and hybrid architectures.
- Ensure strong security posture across SOC, DR, and compliance environments.
People & Culture
- Build and mentor high-performance leadership teams across service delivery, operations, and engineering.
- Create a culture of ownership, accountability, and customer obsession .
- Scale teams while maintaining service quality and operational discipline.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Must-Have Experience
- 18–25+ years in Managed Services / Private Cloud / Data Center Services .
- Proven experience heading a Managed Services business/unit with P&L ownership.
- Strong exposure to enterprise private cloud, virtualization, DR, backup, security, and hybrid cloud .
- Track record of scaling large operations teams (100+ engineers) .
- Experience serving BFSI, large enterprises, or regulated industries .
Leadership & Business Skills
- Strategic thinker with strong execution bias .
- Comfortable operating at CXO / Board level .
- Deep understanding of enterprise IT buying behavior .
- Strong financial acumen around margin management and service economics .
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI workloads, GPU infrastructure, or cloud modernization .
- Background in hyperscale, large data center providers, or cloud MSPs.
- Exposure to global customers or multi-region operations.
