The Head of Mathematics role:

• Lead and manage the Mathematics Department across Years 7–12

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs

• Mentor and support staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative department culture

• Contribute to whole-school initiatives and student achievement strategies

• Permanent position with interviews happening now

The ideal Maths teacher:
Experienced in teaching Mathematics to secondary students with strong knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum

• Proven leadership experience in managing a team or department

• Skilled in curriculum planning, assessment, and innovative pedagogies

• Passionate about inspiring students’ learning and growth in Mathematics

• Excellent communication, organisation, and team management skills

• Current VIT registration and valid Working With Children Check
