Job Description
Oversee end to end operations of the integrated steel plants, providing technical expertise on SMS and rolling mill operations Develop and Implement process improvements to improve productivity, reduce breakdowns and improve operational safety Monitor and implement preventive measures to predict breakdowns and defects Prepare and execute SOPs for safety, process automation and digitization Work extensively in the plant, being in touch with issues on the floor The Successful Applicant
A great fit would be:
from a reputed institute (Metallurgy preferred) 18 to 25 years of overall experience 10+ year of experience operating Steel Melt Shops with Induction furnace having scrap based raw material, with 5+ years in leadership capacity Experience of leading rolling mill operations (TMT Bar manufacturing preferred) Tamil speaking is preferred but not critical for the role Hands on approach to leadership
