The Opportunity

A top-performing Layer 1 blockchain project—already a top 10 by TVL—is hiring a Head of Product to lead core product strategy across its protocol infrastructure, DeFi stack, and user-facing applications.

This is a rare opportunity to take the reins on a suite of high-impact, crypto-native products with real traction, institutional backing, and a powerful incentive model embedded at the protocol layer.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the roadmap for the protocol’s most critical products — including consensus design, staking UX, and DeFi primitives (DEX, lending, governance)
  • Define and execute a clear vision across staking, liquidity coordination, and on-chain user flows
  • Align product direction with token incentives, user growth, and ecosystem expansion

Cross-functional Execution

  • Work closely with engineering (core, frontend, smart contracts), design, and growth teams to ship well-integrated, user-centric features
  • Translate complex protocol mechanics into intuitive experiences for developers and end-users
  • Build tight feedback loops with ecosystem teams to prioritize high-impact initiatives

Leadership & Scaling

  • Establish and scale a high-performing product function — roadmap planning, spec development, QA, and iteration
  • Drive research, testing, and analytics to uncover new opportunities
  • Contribute to go-to-market plans for upcoming launches

Background:

  • 5–10+ years in product leadership, ideally in crypto, DeFi, or developer-facing platforms
  • Track record of shipping complex, cross-functional products in fast-paced environments
  • Deep understanding of token models, DeFi primitives, and Layer 1 blockchain infrastructure

You Bring:

  • High technical fluency (staking, governance, DEXs, stablecoins, etc.)
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management in cross-functional, remote teams
  • Strategic thinking, user obsession, and an instinct for scalable architecture
  • Bonus: hands-on experience bringing protocol products from testnet to mainnet
  • Meaningful token upside with long-term alignment
  • Remote-first culture with global teammates
  • Ownership over some of the most innovative product work in Web3
  • Direct access to founders and key decision-makers
