Head of Product — Gaming & E-Commerce

About the Company:
We’re a fast-growing Gaming Commerce (G-Commerce) startup building SDKs, in-game stores, wallets, pricing engines, and analytics that help gaming studios and consumer brands monetise player engagement—responsibly, seamlessly, and at scale.
We’re a small, senior team that values builders over managers. We ship fast, own outcomes end-to-end, and are defining a new category at the intersection of gaming, commerce, and fintech.
The Role:
We’re looking for a Head of Product who is a true builder—someone who has built consumer products from scratch, not just optimized features within a pod.
You will own product vision, execution, and outcomes across our entire game-commerce stack: SDKs, in-game stores, wallets/payments, pricing, rewards, and analytics. This is a hands-on leadership role with high ownership and direct impact on revenue and growth.
What You’ll Own:
Product Vision & Strategy
- Define and drive the end-to-end product vision and roadmap for:
- SDK & Partner Console
- In-game Store & Monetisation Surfaces
- Wallets, Payments & Pricing
- Rewards, Loyalty & Analytics
- Build for three users simultaneously: players, studios, and brands.
Consumer Growth & Monetisation:
- Own core gaming-commerce metrics:
- Visit → Register → First Game → First Purchase → Retained Payer
- Drive ARPDAU, ARPPU, LTV, conversion, and retention through:
- IAPs, item stores, bundles, subscriptions/VIP, battle passes
- Rewards, loyalty loops, and regional pricing strategies
- Design monetisation that is player-first, not predatory.
Payments & Wallets (End-to-End Ownership):
- Own wallet and payment flows: deposits, withdrawals, refunds, reconciliation.
- Work hands-on with:
- UPI, cards, net-banking, success-rate optimisation & latency reduction
- Ledgering, EOD reconciliation, fraud controls, velocity limits
- KYC/AML and compliance (especially for gaming/RMG contexts)
Platform & Partner Experience:
- Reduce time-to-first-value for studios and brands.
- Improve developer experience via:
- SDK design, APIs, webhooks, versioning
- Documentation, sample apps, analytics dashboards
- Partner closely with BD and engineering to hit revenue-critical launches.
Execution & Team Leadership
- Build and lead a small, senior product team over time.
- Run disciplined experimentation: A/B tests, cohorts, guardrails, rollbacks.
- Make fast, data-backed decisions and ship high-impact releases frequently.
What We’re Looking For:
Must-Have:
- 4–8 years of product experience in consumer-facing domains
- (gaming, gaming rewards, e-commerce, fintech, consumer internet).
- Direct experience with game commerce or monetisation
- (not just engagement or content).
- Proven track record of building products from scratch
- (0→1 or 1→scale), including:
- New consumer products
- Or your own startup/side venture
- Demonstrable impact on payer conversion, retention, or revenue
- (metrics matter—come with numbers).
- Hands-on ownership of payments & wallets in production systems.
- Strong user empathy + product instinct, not just process orientation.
Strong Plus:
- Gaming experience (mid-core, casual, RMG, or rewards-based gaming).
- SDK / platform product experience.
- Experience working with real-money flows and regulatory constraints.
- Ability to clearly tell the product story using data.
Who This Role Is Not For:
- Product managers who have only worked on small pods or narrow feature ownership.
- Profiles with no exposure to consumer scale or monetisation.
- Pure roadmap coordinators without execution depth.
