Designation-Head of Sales (AI Video Studio)
Role Summary
Times Internet is looking for a visionary Head of Sales to lead the commercial strategy for our AI Video Studio . As the powerhouse behind India's most iconic digital brands, we are moving beyond static content into the era of hyper-personalized, AI-generated media. You will be responsible for taking our proprietary Generative Video technology to market-enabling brands to create thousands of personalized video ads, localized news snippets, and interactive celebrity messages at the click of a button.
Key Responsibilities
1. Enterprise & Brand Partnerships
- Leverage the Times Ecosystem: Partner with the existing Times Internet sales engines (TIL Ads, Columbia) to cross-sell AI video solutions to India's top 500 advertisers.
- Direct Brand Sales: Target high-growth sectors (D2C, Fintech, EdTech, and Gaming) to integrate personalized video into their user acquisition and retention funnels.
- Consultative Selling: Move brands from "one-off" TVCs to "always-on" AI video campaigns that speak to users in their own language and context.
2. Strategic Product Commercialization
- Localization at Scale: Sell our "Language-Agnostic" capabilities, allowing national brands to instantly regionalize content for the diverse Indian market (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, etc.).
- Performance Marketing Focus: Build the narrative around CPA (Cost Per Acquisition) reduction -showing brands how AI video outperforms static banners and generic video.
- Feedback Loop: Work closely with our internal AI Research teams to refine the platform based on the needs of India's biggest CMOs.
3. Leadership & Revenue Operations
- The "Zero-to-One" Playbook: Build the sales hierarchy, pricing models (per-video vs. subscription), and go-to-market strategy for the AI Studio division.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with editorial and product leads across TOI, ET, and Gaana to embed AI video into the core user experience.
Who You Are
- The Experience: 10-12 years in Digital Ad Sales, MarTech, or Media-Tech. You have a deep understanding of the Indian digital landscape.
- The Network: You have a "hot" list of contacts among CMOs and Agency Heads (GroupM, Publicis, Dentsu, etc.).
- The Tech-Fluent Closer: You understand Generative AI, Lip-Sync, and Digital Twins well enough to explain the ROI to a CEO and the integration process to a CTO.
- The Scaler: You have experience scaling a high-growth tech product within a large corporate matrix.
