Job Description
We are hiring for the role of Head - Sales & Marketing for our client a Reputable Single Speciality Hospital in Bengaluru.
The Head – Sales & Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing and business development initiatives to drive patient volumes, brand visibility, revenue growth, and market leadership of the single-speciality hospital. The role involves leading sales, marketing, branding, digital outreach, referral development, corporate tie-ups, and community engagement while ensuring ethical healthcare marketing practices.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Leadership
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term sales and marketing strategies aligned with hospital objectives.
- Prepare annual marketing plans, budgets, and revenue projections.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales, marketing, and business development teams.
- Monitor market trends, competition, and patient behavior to identify growth opportunities.
Sales & Business Development
- Drive patient acquisition through referral networks, doctors, corporates, TPAs, and insurance partners.
- Establish and strengthen relationships with referring doctors, clinics, diagnostic centers, and healthcare partners.
- Develop corporate health programs, empanelments, health check packages, and institutional tie-ups.
- Increase occupancy, OPD footfall, and specialty-wise revenue growth.
Marketing & Brand Management
- Oversee branding, positioning, and communication strategy of the hospital.
- Plan and execute ATL, BTL, and digital marketing campaigns.
- Manage hospital website, social media, online reputation, and patient engagement platforms.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
Digital & Performance Marketing
- Drive digital lead generation through SEO, SEM, social media, and online campaigns.
- Track campaign performance, ROI, and conversion metrics.
- Coordinate with digital agencies and internal teams to optimize marketing spends.
Community Outreach & PR
- Plan health camps, CMEs, medical conferences, outreach programs, and public awareness initiatives.
- Manage public relations, media interactions, and crisis communication.
- Represent the hospital at industry forums, events, and community platforms.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
- Prepare regular MIS reports on sales performance, marketing ROI, and market intelligence.
- Coordinate closely with medical, operations, and finance teams.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Growth in OPD, IPD, and specialty-wise revenues
- Patient acquisition and retention rates
- Brand visibility and market share

Qualifications & Experience
Education
- MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Sales, or Healthcare Management (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (mandatory)
Experience
- 10 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in healthcare or hospital industry
- Minimum 5–7 years in a leadership role within a single-speciality or tertiary care hospital
- Proven track record in hospital branding, patient volume growth, and corporate tie-ups
