Role Overview
After-Sales & Technical Support
Sigenergy India is hiring a Head of Technical to lead and build a world-class technical service organisation across India. This role is responsible for after-sales service, technical support, replacements, training, and service process excellence for Sigenergy’s Solar & BESS portfolio.
This is a critical leadership role focused on customer experience, service quality, and long-term brand trust.
After-Sales & Technical Support
- Own end-to-end after-sales service operations across India
- Lead technical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution
- Manage replacement (RMA) processes , warranty handling, and service SLAs
- Ensure fast, transparent, and customer-centric issue resolution
- Build and scale a pan-India service team (regional & state level)
- Set up authorized service partners and service centers
- Define clear roles, escalation paths, and accountability
- Ensure consistent service quality across all regions
- Design and deliver technical training programs for:
- Internal service engineers
- Distributors & EPC partners
- Installers & system integrators
- Create technical documentation, manuals, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides
- Certify partners and installers to Sigenergy standards
- Establish service processes, SOPs, and workflows
- Define and track KPIs (MTTR, first-time fix rate, SLA adherence, customer satisfaction)
- Implement and manage CRM / service ticketing systems
- Drive continuous improvement using data and field feedback
- Work closely with Sales, Product, R&D, and Global Support teams
- Provide field feedback to improve product reliability and design
- Support large projects, key accounts, and critical installations
- Act as the senior escalation point for critical customer issues
- Ensure Sigenergy delivers a premium, safety-first service experience
- Protect and strengthen Sigenergy’s reputation in the Indian market
- 12+ years of experience in technical service, after-sales, or engineering leadership
- Strong background in Solar, BESS, inverters, power electronics, or energy systems
- Proven experience building service teams and service processes from scratch
- Hands-on experience with warranty, RMA, replacements, and field service
- Experience in training installers, EPCs, and partners
- Strong understanding of Indian market conditions and service challenges
- Ability to work in a fast-growing, high-ownership environment
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel across India
