Role Summary

NielsenIQ is seeking a visionary and driven leader to launch and scale its global Visualization program from the ground up. The Head of Visualization will lead the development of the program starting with a pilot phase, collaborating with global leadership to identify initial users and drive adoption. This role combines strategic planning, program development, team building, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the visualization function becomes an essential engine of insight-driven communication across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Program Development & Strategy

  • Build and lead the Visualization program, beginning with a pilot phase targeting key internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with global leadership to define use cases, identify pilot participants, and shape program objectives
  • Develop scalable frameworks, SOPs, and infrastructure to grow the program across regions and functions
  • Expand user base and service offerings based on business needs, usage trends, and stakeholder feedback
  • Integrate Power BI solutions for dynamic data visualization and decision support
  • Ensure quality control and maintain high standards across all design outputs
  • Spearhead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, automation, and team productivity
  • Engagement, Marketing & Communication

  • Promote the value of the Visualization program through internal campaigns, showcases, and leadership briefings
  • Establish onboarding processes and communication plans to drive awareness, understanding, and adoption
  • Serve as program ambassador, ensuring high satisfaction, strong partnerships, and ongoing alignment with strategic goals
  • Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Build and manage a multidisciplinary design team including Visualization Specialists, Coordinators, and Graphic Leads
  • Oversee recruiting, coaching, and professional development to foster a high-performing and innovative team culture
  • Set and maintain quality standards, design best practices, and operational excellence across all outputs
  • Develop visual storytelling frameworks to effectively communicate insights and drive engagement
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Communications, Marketing, HR, and Business Insights to integrate visual storytelling
  • Collaborate with IT and Operations to support infrastructure and digital workflow systems
  • Qualifications

    Education & Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in visualization and presentation design
  • Expertise in PowerPoint, Power BI, Excel, and Adobe Suite with a keen eye for detail and design consistency.
  • Proven track record at global organizations
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Business English Communication Certified.
  • Competencies

  • Proven ability to lead and inspire high-performing design teams
  • Extensive experience in PowerPoint, Power BI, Excel, and Adobe Suite
  • Strong ability to align visual outputs with business and executive strategies
  • Expertise in streamlining workflows and enhancing team efficiency. Proficiency in performance tracking to optimize design impact
  • Balance between visual aesthetics and data-driven decision-making
